PC World – No doubt plotting to resuscitate its flagging portable powerhouse, Sony today revealed God of War: Ghost of Sparta is in the offing, another prequel in the company’s myth-themed meat-tenderizing series exclusive to the PSP. AP – Nintendo’s “The Legend of Zelda” is one of the most beloved series in the history of video games, but few competitors have tried to duplicate its winning formula. Blending epic drama, fast-paced action, devious puzzles and basic role-playing, the “Zelda” franchise is really a genre of its own, with each new episode deftly mixing familiar and fresh features.

PC World – Iron Man the game sucked major repulsor rays, but then most video game movie tie-ins do. Witness James Cameron’s Avatar, hailed by most as a breakthrough movie (even if it wasn’t) which even the pros at Ubisoft Montreal (Assassin’s Creed II, Prince of Persia) couldn’t rescue in game-form from the curse of “crap by association.”
